That 14 hour workday is a window. It includes breaks as well. if you start your day at 6 am you need to be parked for the night by 8pm. However if you are held up for more than 2 hours you can use split sleeper provision to extend your window.

I’m working on starting now. Been a trucker for several years. But now I’ve got a family and I’m needed home too frequently. I just don’t understand which DOT forms I need. I’ve got the LLC starting up. I’ve got DAT and truck stop downloaded. What dot forms do I need

so i am guessing that while you are a dispatcher you can use any drivers mc# to pulll loads?, or would it be better to become a freight broker to get your own MC
@AntoineWest3 күн бұрын
Yes. It’s just depends on your business goals when it comes to adding a brokerage on. We could discuss it further and I can help you add the brokerage if you wanted to go that route.

Does your course teach how to scale? But also. Does it actually teach you step by step on everything involved with scaling the business? Hiring multiple disparchers in the very beginning for example.
@AntoineWest7 күн бұрын
Hey. Yes. I don’t really believe a person has a business unless it’s growing. So the only thing I teach is how to grow the business and everything that comes with it. I’ll be working with you every step of the way even teaching info you won’t find anywhere such as how to attract so many drivers to the point where you can get a waitlist going insuring there is plenty of demand for your business. Or try to implement the ideas that I’m saying I give out in the bootcamp. Such as the Trello board. But if you’re really serious about making money I wouldn’t joke about it. I would guess you treat your own business the same way you commented. I would go at it full force on my own or enroll in the bootcamp without ever leaving a comment like this.

Yelp. I been there. Here is my advice keep learning, balance your finances, and never say any amount of money is tough. Every time you speak that way about money you planting that belief into your subconscious mind making it true. I wouldn’t ever tell anyone it’s nobodies business but yours anyway.

Do you think it's possible to have a Faceless dispatching business? For example, with graphic videos and good marketing without physically getting on camera.
@AntoineWest12 күн бұрын
I believe it’s possible but by not being on video it’s decreasing know, like, trust so that will show in the driver sign ups and the amount of time your business takes to convert a lead. It would cause you to have to have an extremely high UVP that causes drivers to want to get on the phone even with faceless video marketing. It can be done but it’s always going to be about the UVP and the amount of traffic you’re getting to the UVP. You could still also go to trucks stops etc.
@theurbantherapist412 күн бұрын
@AntoineWest Understood. I plan on signing up for the boot camp soon. Paid ads are growing my following, so I'm hoping I can convert soon. Always check FMCSA and DOT for new guidelines or updates. As of today you can take split "break" doing 2-8 3-7 split instead of a full consecutive 10 it could become a hassle if you are not experienced or sure how HOS rules apply.

I understand. A person needs sales and marketing skills. I have been watching non-stop videos for a month. I come across a ton of do and do not video. Thousands of tips. And hundreds of live bookings. I still have not found videos on how to actually fill out the paperwork, basically how to do all the work. I mean, I can't find video on how to do the job itself.
@AntoineWest23 күн бұрын
This would be my question. How many drivers have you had phone calls with? Also what does your marketing materials look like. Have you built a Facebook business page. Start building out marketing before you concentrate on onboarding. Even in my dispatcher bootcamp I train in a step by step manner. Starting any business you want to make sure you create market demand and then once you see you have interest in what you’re offering start setting up the day to day activities. I didn’t have any paperwork before I got my first driver marketing was top priority! kzbin.infoaNpo909Xeck?si=eGuO8gyX71iivG3D

All good questions. Short answer. I have watched almost all of your videos. Intact, your videos are so informative. I watch 2 to 3 times. I just like to over prepare as much as possible. I will be signing up for your course. I have watched one too many dan pena videos. I will not be just a dispatcher. I want more.
@AntoineWest23 күн бұрын
There’s no amount of preparation like action! The key is to jump in when you don’t feel prepared, it’s the story of my life! Glad you’re planning on taking the course. I wouldn’t be where I’m at only depending on KZbin info. I’ve had to listen to free content, paid content, paid conferences, networking, etc but when you enroll in the course you get all my knowledge I have stored up!💯 I do believe working with me 1-on-1 would be a great investment in your business. It’s much easier when I can talk to someone directly. Hopefully we will be on a 1 on 1 video call soon that’s where the progress happens!💯

Thank you for all your videos they’re very helpful. I just have one question. I’m currently working a job where I’m not being micromanaged but I do work sometimes 7-8 am or it’s possible I might start at 6am sometimes. I’m a driver for a non- emergency transportation company but since I work early morning and I’m on the road I don’t know if it’s still possible for me to start my own dispatching company or if I should look for something else that I can work second shift and work on dispatching business in the morning but I don’t know with whatever I get if they would micromanage me. Any recommendations you would suggest to me? Thank you for all your help and videos!!
@AntoineWest25 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for commenting. So I believe that could be solved many different ways. I teach to hire a dispatcher as soon as your company has money coming in to pay for one. This way you can use less of your time in operations(dispatching) and more in marketing and sales doing it this way will lead to you having a passive income business. In the bootcamp I teach to hire low cost virtual assistants who are already trained as dispatchers. Most of the times one truck can pay the cost of the VA but they can dispatch about 5 trucks each. So knowing your position with your job I would plan out all the right marketing ideas that get enough trucks into your business to be able to hire a dispatcher. I believe this would be the most efficient and stress free solution so you don’t even have to worry about your work schedule. Feel free to schedule a call for more info.
