Start by exercising the basics; dribbling, catching, passing and throwing , then find a team near you , doesn’t matter what level they play on, and join them. Keep on training with them and you’ll get better day by day. Always Have Fun !

If u can still help me i require ur help Do u know anyway i can throw the ball fast if i have small hands? i grip the ball with my palm even tho i can grip it with fingers but it doesnt stay tight
@Handball4AllStepbyStep
@Handball4AllStepbyStep 3 ай бұрын
While you hold the ball in your hand, there has to be a space, almost big enough to be able to fit one small finger (between the palm of your hand and the ball), this will give you the ability to throw faster and more accurate. So if you have a smaller hand, that means you’ll have to space out your fingers wider , while holding the ball and press harder the tips of your fingers on the ball. To be able to do this you’ll need to do some extra training for your finger strength. (Squeezeing rubber donuts or hard palm rubber balls ,daily, for example will improve a lot your grip). There’s always a way to compensate for any disadvantage you have , not an easy one, but is possible :) Never give up! ✊ Have fun !

Most important thing is, keep your front foot (left if you’re right handed)facing forward, knee bending and don’t move the leg while you’re making the throw, this will keep your aim better and you’ll have more force in your throw, as the foot will basically support the weight of your body, the right arm movement from back to front as you are throwing a rock, with a continuous but accelerated movement. Hope this helps , Have fun !

@@Handball4AllStepbyStep thanks for the tip. I more used to using my legs like a launcher right before I throw it. I will put most of weight behind my back leg( usually right leg) and then push my leg up forward like a launcher to give my hand more power

would be nice though if focus would be on the technical part of handball on this age and not on the tactical one.Nice to see ,but long term we must just hope that theese kids are going to develop accordingly.

Totally agree with the technical part, and with out it this boys wouldn’t be able to do any of the “tactical “ things 😉, that’s why they are able to what , they are doing, strong individual and team technical focus on trainings , a lot of work and A LOT of HEART !

Practice, yes :), rest it’s just a question of opportunity, it can be done against any team that has a defense inside the 9m line. This …”trick “ has actually 4 solutions, depending on the way the defense reacts, in this videos there’s only one of them. Will try to find the others.. but sadly they’re all recorded at …“potato quality “ 😊

Thanks but I’m to old and “rusty “ to still play pro :). I’m doing my best in giving a hand to some young players to make it pro. Maybe I should put some short videos with them 🤔, they are good and they play with a lot of heart.

Well, the biggest difference it’s that, in handball you are not allowed to delay the ball, while it’s in the air, so you can change it’s trajectory when bouncing, you have to do that just by using the top of your fingers to direct it to bounce at a different angle, well that and the size of the ball of course 😋

The most important thing is the size of the ball, that you are using, had a short video explaining that, one of the first ones, regarding the specific brand name, I’ve tried: Hummel, Select, Kempa, Molten and all of them have a good variety of good quality balls. I’m sure there are other good brands more convenient to your location :). Have fun!

Sure, as long as you keep the ball bouncing. (Don’t stop it and you don’t “guide it “, just bounce it back in an angle so you can switch hands)
