Practising a number of techniques by studying bunkai(s) will allow you to learn several self-defence methods. Each kata teaches a wide array of different fighting scenarios. Never judge a book by the cover :)

Pero como engañan a la gente y mas.aun a la que nunca se ha peleado en la calle. Es mas ese japones cinta negra es su vida se ha dado de putazos con un matón de la calle. Si lo hubiera hecho , no estaria enseñando esas coreografias q ue de nada sirven.

A great teacher plus a very humble and friendly person. His techniques and teaching are very down to earth and practical. Nothing fancy just simply effective to the point. Same for his kata teaching.

Taniyama Senei is a great teacher. He has been JKA champion many many times both in kata and kumite, plus 4 or 5 times grand champion by winning both kumite and kata titles together.
