I can only guess here that you are travelling in first class - here in Manchester U.K., where I’ve lived for 23 years, I go home to my family in Rural Ireland on SailRail via Holyhead and Dublin on Irish Ferries, but starting off from Platforms 13 & 14 at Manchester Piccadilly and changing trains at Chester on cramped and overcrowded trains is a nightmare and there are some issues with getting from Dublin Port (North Wall) into Dublin City Centre despite the expansion of Dublin Port to take cruise ships and it’s close proximity to the M50 motorway and the Port Tunnel - in recent decades, they have stopped ferries into Dun Laoire Port which has a ready made DART line connection into Dublin Connolly, Greystones & Howth/Malahide, which connects both the Dublin Rosslare line and the Dublin Belfast line, however the Irish government has planned a massive rail investment programme for the Irish railways managed by Iarnod Éireann (Irish Rail) - one of these is to extend the Dublin Docklands to M3 Parkway line to Navan in the next few years, so hopefully this should make for a much more civilised way to travel around Ireland by train 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️🙏

Does the tube driver go to the other cabin each time or are there two drivers on each side of the train?

Either the driver walks to the other cab of the train (at Waterloo) or there is a new driver waiting at the opposite end of the platform and enters the rear cab while the previous driver exits the front cab. (at Bank). As far as I am aware there is never a time where there are drivers in each cab while the train is moving.

I believe this would come under "misuse of communication equipment" in the bylaws which means the airport can remove you from the premises and give you a fixed penalty fine.

Yesterday I cycled from Mechelen (2:10:26) to Antwerp (2:33:40) and back (in total 70km). You can see the bike path next to the train tracks. This is the F1 ‘fietsostrade’ (= bike highway) and it goes even to Brussels, connecting the two biggest cities in Belgium.
