If you can´t decide which legion to pick then play a Shattered Legion force. You may include up to three different legions in that army. According what you have told us in the video you can then do Death Guard, Emperors Children & Sons of Horus ALL at the same time.

I agree, modern 40k lost it's way. The introduction of the primaris is part to blame, you cannot have a story that is a minute to midnight story - where the good guys have already lost and it is not a case of if humanity goes extinct but when - and then have it turn out that the whole time there were legions worth of space marines in the basement, which are superior to the space marines who have been holding the line. And now is the time Cawl releases them... there have been countless occasions where they would have turned the tide and definitely would have been released... They should have just upscaled the marines and then for the new tanks and guns/armour just said that a new STCs had been found. People would have complained, but it wouldn't have damaged the lore. As for the primarchs returning, honestly, I don't have a problem with that. Actually the loyalist primarchs who are alive just up and leaving and never intervening always bugged me. And the daemon primarchs getting models is good too I think. Then the other big problem is the move towards monopose models. No longer can you, with great ease, buy a couple of veteran kits, a devastator kit, some assault marines and a tactical squad and mix and match to kit bash unique units. Now you are stuck with the monopose stuff. Shame. I hope GW reverse this decision, stopping third party miniature companies from selling model pieces that are compatible with GW kits is not worth ruining the customisation of the hobby. After seeing how lazy the new blood angels models are, i am going to have to buy 2-3 boxes of every space wolf unit, in case they get new kits that are shit but i need a new squad... My wolves are basically future proofed already as i have so many. but man the lazy mini releases lately has got me concerned for when they revamp the wolves.

Think you should've used the Panther and brought in the Stug III as backup? Maybe a hunter killer assault on the Soviet tanks. Beats standing still and letting them pick your tanks off. There was a book out on the space marine chapters, a codex I believe? You might want to find it and look at the chapters. They have some great color schemes for Marines. White Scars were pretty cool. The one group looked like Imperial stormtroopers from Star Wars. Wonder if they shoot the same. Lol... They look interesting. I can see that. You might want to Google search images for them. Some players have shown off their armies. I knew one guy several years ago created his own chapter based on World War II German waffen soldiers. Recently, one person at a gaming store played custom lego minifigs that were space Marines against orks. It was an amazing game to watch. He combined two hobbies into one. They look good, Dario. I love your basing. I want to play bolt action so badly but there’s nothing near me.

BARs are worth it on Regulars if you take 2 per squad and that squad is 7 or 8 men. For Inexperienced troops it’s not worth it since an extra man is 7 points. For Veterans it can be worth it, but normally Veterans are best used as your “push” or assault units where the extra range on the BAR doesn’t matter as much and it would be better to have 3 SMGs instead of 2 BARs. For your general purpose supporting fire Regulars having 2 BARs per squad is still a very good choice. That extra 6” of range compared to just having Rifles is often the difference between being in range and being able to shoot the BARs and not being in range and getting zero shots off because you only have Rifles. BARs are still good, but they aren’t perfect for every scenario just like LMGs.

This was an interesting game. It's an idea, and I don't know if you can do it or not? But couldn't you break up your flintlock dwarves into two groups? Have one firing, while the other reloads? To make it similar to what you have with the crossbows? Firing every other turn. Just a thought. On the buildings on the table. I think a few of them could fit into bolt action scenery? They look like the type you'd see in hamlets, villages, and farming communities in rural areas in World War 2.

In Canada that same pack is $75, €70 is $105 for me. Thats crazy the price difference.

The hedge row piece is also available on the Stuart tank as well. These are great if you plan on making a June 6th D-Day campaign, which would be awesome. They also have Atlantic wall bunkers available in a model kit for Bolt Action you get three in the box. Their big enough for a PAK 40 or machine gun emplacements. I'd leave the antenna if you are in for historical accuracy? The hedge hog piece was mostly used in france. US tanks had them on the Sherman, Lee, tank destroyers, and Stuart tanks. They used them to plow a way through hedge row fields in France. You can see them on World War II videos. Keep up the excellent work!

Like you said in the video, Dario. These are the same tanks used in bolt action. I don't know if they do it on the website? But, I imagine you could get copies of the cards that come with the bolt action tank kits there? Since it's tan plastic. I'd probably go with a desert pattern or the jadgpather paint job it had in Band of Brothers. It seems just about every starter set they have come out with over the past years has had the Stug III in it. At least those I have had... 😅. One can say. The Stug III was definitely workhorse tank. It saw a lot of action on different fronts. If your interested? Warlord does make a metal and resin kubelwagen. It comes in a plain box with "Reinforcements" printed on it. It has a driver and canopy top you can make with the top up. Top down. You have the machine gun to mount on it behind the passenger seat. It looks pretty cool. Keep those great videos coming!👍🙂

Dario, that was the point of hobbies. Even back all those years ago. People collecting stamps, coins, butterflies, etc. They were to go home and leave the day's stresses, and work behind. Your personal private time away from the world. Gary gave us D&D and all the others that followed to give us an escape. Just like participating in sports. What is cool is building the model and painting it. The happiness of feeling that you have accomplished something great. Hobbies, no matter what you choose. Is good emotional therapy for everyone. The more you practice, the better at it you will get. Music playing in the background is good too. The point of a hobby is to take time to leave the real world behind and relax. Even reading books is a relaxing, refreshing hobby. Sometimes you relax so much you fall asleep. It's not a bad thing, either. Lol. Great subject. You have an idea on discussing things people need to really think about. Some do videos where they take you from the unboxing to construction to painting the minis or models. I stopped playing 6 or so years ago. lgs fell apart. I used to be a big terrain maker with my blog pinned at the top of PP website. Not enough support to the players from the company. So I stopped.

Just restarted this game. Decided for now to stay in Mk III. And trying to find some missing units. I have most armies except Scyrah, Convergence, Grymkin and Pirate Mercenaries.

Just play Version two. I gave up version three. It's an terrible downgrade.

painting minis can generate stress sometimes)) but in a long-term, i love this stress. it is like puzzle-solving process (color-schemes, techniques). i never tell somebody, who just washed his ork in some black-green stuff and add two color, that it is a bad painting, but in my mind i look at that ork and think - "my guy, what an atrocious thing he did to you" good video, without noise and about right things

Miniature painting is the single most effective thing I have found to manage my PTSD and anxiety issues. 10/10 recommend.

I think when we have tanks involved. We forget they have the ability to take long-range shots at the enemy. And some charge into combat, putting them at risk. When they don't have to. I try to keep them back until I really feel they can be used in the best possible way. Sometimes, you find out at the end of the game. You really didn't need it there. But it was nice to have a backup. Now, with the airstrike. It might become a tool to take out groups of soldiers charging by strafing and bombing the field. Or any artillery in behind the enemy lines. This video provides the chance to analyze the scenarios and situations. Offering alternative solutions for future plans of attack and defense of your armies. Great job, I'll be happy to see how you progress with this 3rd rule book.

Great looking model. Something I noticed, was the 50mm barrel that long in the later Panzer III (before they got the short 75mm) ? I know it's a wargames model and not exactly to scale but it stood out to me.

Quick question about morale : how do you calculate morale with all the modifier? Do you calculate bonus before and pin after? Or All at the same time and cap at 2 or 11?

The game is an easy to learn hard to kaster game. I like its alternating actions because it keeps players on their toes and rrwards those who think ahead.

Hi, Dario. I did come across a short video from the Tank Museum in Bovington. It was about the M18 tank destroyer. It had that Couger painted on it with the name Couger as well. Maybe that was the name its tank crew gave that tank they had? It wasn't uncommon for men to name their combat vehicle back then? Probably for morale and camaraderie. Thought you'd like to know and check it out on KZbin?

I got one idea you might want to try to play? Close quarters combat without tanks and vehicles. Get some D&D tiles. Use only the ones with doors and halls, passages, a few rooms. Basically, it's an underground bunker. German defenders vs. US or British infiltraters. The goal to retrieve a captured general or counter-offensive plans. You know something cool. Or the downed pilot from that P47 model you built. Or to mix it up. Have your Soviet army buddy defending the bunker from your German soldiers? The ideas for missions are only limited by your imagination. Should make for a good game. If you play it, look forward to the play by play video. This was interesting, Dario. It depends on the area you're going to be in. Suppression fire to slow down the enemy on a road or in a town. I would say they're great for. I usually think of the BAR like I would in setting up an MG 34 or another MG. 30 cal. or 50 cal. In a game, where can you set it up to get the most damage. If that'll help? That's what I think of before the game starts.

That's the problem. You have people that want to play a game and have fun. Then you have those who want to dominate the game and be the center of it over everyone. That's when you develop a friendship with over plays to reign in the dominate player by making them the target over the new player you like and want to join your group and stay. If your a gm you have the power to be fair to everyone and you can pull that person aside while taking a break and tell them to tone it down a little. It depends on how you look at it. Competitive is OK. But when it ruins the fun and pleasure of playing the game. That isn't good. It's being hateful or selfish. Always aim to be better and having fun.

No offense but this sounds like a you problem. If you want to play for fun but play with random people at the store theres a chance they dont have the same approach to the game. I doubt it will be any other way in other games if you just play random people. Just play with people in your playgroup and/or just talk to people ;)
