7:14 As far as I saw from someone else visiting the Dukha Ive heard that they don't even wash their hand directly in water. They take the water out in a can and then wash. Out of respect to nature and they don't want to dirty it. But am I seeing one of them sitting with you in the stream? Please don't misunderstand, I don't mean to critique. If not, it sucks, but anybody can do mistakes, other than that I'd be very curious.

They are "Tsaatan" not "Taatan" with a strong Ts sound. (They themselves prefer to be called "Dukha," or even "Taigiinkhan" (Forest People) while Mongolians named them "Tsaatan," or "Reindeer People" in the mid 20th century. Moreover, while they are related to Tuvans, they were there in Khuvsgul Aimag before borders were fixed as they are now between Mongolia and Russia. They have lived there for centuries, instead of being migrants from Tuva, Russia. Nonetheless, thank you for making this good video that highlights these remarkable people and their unique way of life. It looks like you had a good trip there.

The trip was actually quite extensive and physically taxing! It takes a high level of riding and back country experience. I would recommend any trip to Mongolia be through Erik @erikcooperadventurist on IG he is well connected and a wonderful trip leader.
