So years ago it had one mechanical bell, and one general signals type 2 e-bell, and now the mechanical bell is replaced by another type 2 e-bell, and the two type 2 e-bells are replaces by the type 3 e-bells. How amazing this crossing looks. I also hate the sound of the wayside horns btw.

If you go up the road a little bit, and turn left, there's a little overpass over the tracks. Makes a little scenic canyon. I haven't gotten around to going there since it's hard to get my bike up that steep hill. I really recommend it though, just seeing it driving past.

Watch as the traffic lights on the right side of the screen change from green to yellow then to red. Then the red lights will start flashing

It sounds like a Leslie RS3L. I hate wayside horns there very annoying I prefer the sound of the beautiful train horns.

I agree with your comments regarding this intersection. Where are you supposed to stop when traveling north on Severin and the light is red?

There isn’t really a designated stop place for northbound traffic. Some cars stop between the intersection and the tracks, others stop before the KEEP CLEAR section for the t-intersection before the crossing

The BNSG San Bernardino sub has a whole lot of safetran search lights, I used to watch trains at a Denny’s near this location. It’s been beautiful and sad to watch it modernize.

@@wrrail US&S and GRS I believe were the main manufacturers of searchlights. Safetran did make a unilens dwarf signal that I suppose is kinda like a searchlight, but it wasn't one, I don't think.
