I’m watching this video two years later and Arlo continues to increase their subscription prices. It’s up to $20 a month now if you have more than one camera which is a lot considering the cameras where at a premium price before.

This video is four years old. I have one gig with Optimum, which used to be owned by Cablevision but now by Altice. It's promoted as fiber but in my apartment building fiber optic wire ends maybe in a utility room but not in my apartment. It's coax cable from Optimum and non equal download and upload speeds like 550/50. Certainly not 1024/1024. I'm surprised Optimum gets away with calling it fiber optic.

I removed my arlo subscription. It felt odd like I was being watched. My data plan for my wifi sky rocketed. Then I started noticing things with my arlo cameras. Once in awhile, even while being directed hardwired for the charging would they blink blue... indication of use and not charging or connection. Upon reading the fine lines in the policy and subscription, shows that they can at anytime or randomization take audio or video for their purposes only. Meaning using their camera they can have access to your personal space through audio and video. Obviously the company denied doing so even tho I sent them the screenshot of their policy stating they do. The second I told them I need to cancel due to privacy issues, I wasn't able to.. I had to actually use incognito mode on my devices to access my subscription plans to cancel. As of my device i.d.s were keeping me from arlo afterwards. By using their product, adding subscriptions, or any of the above is a clear mark of "voluntary" and knowing so. Go into their policy. It tells you they do indeed use your audio, video or logs created by the device.

Best thing to do is go in router ip and switch off 5g and forget the network on your device, re connect to router in the 2.4ghz once thats done switch 5g back on your device won't switch back over it'll be permanently in that band! What i do.

Latest is the wired are hard to find. Lowe’s doesn’t carry them and Home Depot says unavailable (in fact if you select this in HD it will switch to battery only without telling you). So I went to Nest web site and they claim if ordered you can have only one and not until end of January. I had heard Costco has some a few months back but you were only allowed one. I don’t trust Google if I buy one of these and what a if they drop support like they did to protect or what if a new Nest is coming out. I was going to upgrade a couple of my smoke detectors but I decided not to at this time e due to availability.

I think chaining would be the answer to the single action limitation. For example: I could tell it if I upload a short to KZbin, I also want it uploaded to Twitter and then build another action that says if I upload to Twitter then upload to tiktok, etc.

Guys! You have to reset the google home mini if you are having trouble connecting it to the app! I was literally trying for like 10 minutes but I just held down the little button on the bottom and reset it. Then I tried connecting again and it finally worked.
