I don't think that would change anything. As long as you get good grades and have good extracurricular activities then you should be good. I'm not an expert though.

Honest opinion: once you become an RN, university doesn’t matter. You should worry how to make yourself competitive when applying for RN job. The competition is fierce in AHS and Covenant.

For the application requirements, can the 4 other academic electives (apart from Calculus and English) be ANY other grade 12 course? For example, would they need/would it be better to have science courses (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) in order to apply for this program? Or would 4 of any grade 12 course (fine arts, etc) be allowed in applying?

I have a bachelor of arts micro PhD, with a 2.0 in philosophy and psychology to unlock my hemispheres in the brain they are not calibrated properly. They keep thinking it's stolen. I learned frenxh in grade 4 taking university level french for a second language by grade 8 and math, science in high-school until grade 11. They wouldn't let us do pure math in French in 11 and 12. I don't want to go back there for an after degree.

Does university of Toronto offer fee waivers for application?
@MikeZ763 ай бұрын
Not sure what u mean by a fee waiver but the $125 application fee is non-refundable. You can of course defer your tuition payment tho it might prevent you from enrolling in some of the more competitive courses.

Hi! I know this video is a year old but I was wondering about the application requirements. On the UBC website, it said students also need a language 11. Would it be possible to get accepted even if the requirement is not met or is it mandatory? If you can reply that would mean a lot. Thank you in advance!

@MikeZ763 ай бұрын
@@dzciple4931 I got into UTSG Arts and Science with a cGPA of 3.90 (out of 4) from an average public high school in New Zealand (It's relatively easier to get a higher GPA from doing NCEA). If you are within Canada you want to at least aim for the top 10% in terms of solid grade. A thing to note is that UofT really cares about overall excellence, it's better to have all B+ than a mixture of good and mediocre grades that give you the same overall GPA. Consistency of performance matters, especially so in a competitive uni like UofT. On top of that, you might wanna check out the ratio of Canadian high school graduates vs UofT's domestic undergrad intake. Last time I checked, UofT takes a little over 17,000 undergrad freshmen per year and 25% of students at UofT are international. Meanwhile, around 350,000 students graduate from high school in Canada every year. In terms of extracurriculars, I probably spent less than 5 mins filling the entire non-academic section of the application but that might be different if you're applying from within Canada, best to check with your school's advisor. If you are international like me tho, it should be slightly easier and much more academic-based. Keep in mind that UofT's international tuition is on par with some of the top private non-Ivy unis in the US and downtown Toronto is VERY expensive to live in. Good luck to your application :>
