This is so beautiful and inspiring - thank you! Your call for us to let ourselves go resonates deeply with how I see the writing I am doing - I feel like a conduit for a story that wants to be told. So glad to find others with a similar perspective. Thank you!

I’m not a writer (though I like to journal), I prefer express myself through drawing or singing to writing. But I loved the idea of prompts - I’m practicing feeling gratitude myself and the prompt you gave really inspired me to try poetry and writing. Really great video and solid advice, thank you for sharing this video with us.

Not sure why this came up in my feed. What I wrote was a journal of what I did this morning. It wasn't good or bad. Maybe a little depressing.

The writing promots in the middle of the video are genius, please never stop doing them! I personally need to find back to allowing for my inner world of imagination blossoming without judging it. And to be honest after years of purposefully callousing up my soul for the sake of self protection against emotional pain during a toxic relationship, I need to learn how to access my emotions again and allow for energetic fluctuation between me and the outer world, to allow to be open again, because I think this is paramount for the creative process. When I feel alive inside and can feel my emotions and allow for my inner world to blossom, I feel as if I am surrounded by my creative process, as if I live in it and it is part of me and my world. I feel the warmth and connection with it in my heart. When I am closing all of this off, THAT is when I lose touch with this feeling, and when I merely stare at the blank page without a single idea. It is not because I don't have any ideas at all, but because I can't feel anything, and feel something I have to if I want to write things that will feel alive to both me and the potential reader.

Dear Justen, may your channel blossom and prosper! You are having a completely unique and individual approach! I personally realise this very moment that THIS is what was lacking from all the other advice: the spiritual element. The universe, god, all energies working together to aid us, in the moment we start trying. Much love and have a wonderful day.

Normally I would stop a video like this the moment I realized I cant even hear the dialogue on maximum volume but the content interested me enough to read the transcript and I wasnt disappointed. So I give it a thumbs up. Great points. Just please, for the love of Calliope (patron of epic poetry), invest in a decent microphone set up! I have a Blue Yeti USB Mic and I am not what anyone would describe as wealthy. I'm what they call "working poor". So if I can afford a better than average mic then I'm sure you could manage it too. Mine was only around 100 dollars. There are way cheaper ones but if you are going to be a content creator you really need to invest in a mic that is well known for its sound quality. That is actually more important than video quality if all you are showing is yourself talking. The average smart phone has good enough video quality.

I liek this.. it’s like inverse AI. I click random video from the algorithm, and you give me a prompt. I respond based on my inner model, but instead of reversion to mean slop, I created something new and valuable to help my creative mind get momentum on a problem I’ve been hammering for months. I wish you success, I hope you give me more prompts to invert the AI paradigm further. God be with ye brother

Thank you, Justen. Your understanding of the spiritual elements employed in the practice of writing, or any creative activity is clear and helpful. Your video reminds me of the important ingredients needed in the writing process: practice, joy, cultivation, a healthy environment, and devotion. And how these, when worked together, lead to a "coming to love." Which is our dance with the divine, which is why we write. Well done. I look forward to hearing more of your wisdom.
