The Radio Hall has been rebuilt and is slightly different from the story. The staircase of the building at that time was the same as in the story of Steins;Gate.

I am cool with the pronunciations and all stuffs idk but I can just understand.. well I almost used to spend 10 hrs every in anime.. so I guess it kinda helped me

I was in Numazu a few weeks ago but unfortunately my time was cut short because it was raining. So I couldn't visit some cafes and Awashima Island. I did collect a few stamps from Gamers, the shopping district and the Ryokan in front of Mito Beach. Sadly, I couldn't even write Aqours on the beach after years of wanting to do that 🥲 Hopefully the weather will be perfect when I return to Numazu next time.

I just ordered Japanese from Zero 1 today and I'm very excited to start and hopefully this time see it all the way through. I've tried many times through the years to learn Japanese but the hiragana and katakana never stuck and I tried to do everything online for free. I'm a person who needs a book infront of me with everything layed out, so when I found this series, I knew I had to get it and be more serious about it 😅

Hey Ginger Gaiden! I’m from the USA and I love some foreign languages, geography, history and art! When I was in high school, I took Chinese Mandarin and that was the only best thing about going to school because learning languages is so fun and exciting and the teacher was very very nice. When I was a kid I taught myself Russian as a personal hobby and that was the very first language I ever learnt. I would like to learn and study these four foreign languages: Chinese Mandarin, Korean, Russian and Italian. Here’s why I wanna study each language: Chinese Mandarin and Korean: China and South Korea have beautiful cultures, beautiful advanced infrastructure. For Korean, Korean language is the easiest in Asia. For Chinese Mandarin, China has long amazing history for 5,000 years and Chinese Mandarin is meaningful because of its amazing radicals. Russian and Italian: Russia and Italy both have fascinating and interesting history, Russia’s history being the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire. Italy’s history being the Roman Empire and Byzantine Empire. Russia has a beautiful culture, beautiful landmarks and beautiful infrastructure such as the Moscow metro. Italy has amazing food, scenery and culture. 🇨🇳🇰🇷🇷🇺🇮🇹.

What I really like about this video is that among all of the many "things you should know before moving to Japan" videos I've watched on YT, three of these points are points I've never heard discussed in any of them. I've already long decided that moving to Japan is not for me, and yet there's still more points I hadn't even thought about. Thanks as always for sharing your experience!

Pet quarantines have changes a bit if you plan ahead so you can avoid quarantine. It does require a lot of vet visits and paperwork though.

Lovely video as usual! Regarding the US flags in the museum's model railway, it is because the first railway in Otaru (part of which is now the abandoned section) was built under the guidance of US engineers, unlike the other early Japanese railways in the south, which relied on British knowledge. The trains and most other equipment were imported from the US. That railway's primary goal was to carry coal from the mines east of Sapporo, through Sapporo, and then to Otaru's port 😊

New video about life in Japan that people might not know about? Nice! The fact that you're using the experiences you and your husband have had to hopefully help others is a great service! Has it truly been 7? Making me feel old over here! I know you miss your family (both human and furry) to be where you are, but be confident in knowing that what you're doing is the bravest thing I've ever seen anyone do! Also related to this video, there is a graphic novel called "Hanami- You, me, and 200 sq ft in Japan". It's about a Spanish couple that decide to move to Japan. ... and make a lot of mistakes. Hopefully you can find it! Love the video, can't wait for the next one!

how do you apply for citizenship now cause i can work from home still have my american job but i just need to get citizenship
@GingerGaiden2 ай бұрын
Lots of steps, one being you need to have already lived in Japan for several years. You have to contribute to society in some way, and working from home doing a US job is not really the best way to prove that. Knowing Japanese helps, as there is an interview.

I really appreciate this video! As an avid overthinker, I think you're overthinking the whole J-vlogger thing. Just do things you enjoy, and learn to not mind what other people or society thinks, *too* much. Also, just because walking around and rambling might not be the most high-production/effort video, it doesn't mean that the community doesn't have to like it more than other videos with more money/resources being put into them.

The scenery in camera for this was chef’s kiss. Her: for some people I’m the only person they know who’s lived in Japan. Me: It’s me, ✋, I’m some people. Also love the “just my opinion” disclaimer ahead of just straight dropping intelligent considerations to factor in when moving to another country. The opinion element is really just valid life experience. Worth watching for basically anyone looking at this kind of life change, more so the earlier in life you are. Well said. 👏👏👏

I moved to Australia and it's the same regarding pets. They make it ridiculously complicated to bring them. This is something I don't understand. I get asking them to be vaccinated so they won't bring diseases, but otherwise what are they scared of? That we're going to abandon them once we get there? No one would bring their pet on such a long trip to an island (be it Oz or Japan) just to abandon them. I can't help but think these are the kinds of laws that were designed by people who don't have and/or don't like animals.

As someone who is planning to move to Japan with my wife for the long term, this was video was rather tough to process despite it is absolutely necessary. Most people that cover these topics aren't so "blunt" as you've discussed them here. Still, I do believe this is the right choice for me and my partner - something that I felt deep down when we went to Japan for the first time a few months ago. It's definitely very much different visiting there versus moving there, of course. Really appreciate how you've tackled these very necessary topics to really, REALLY consider!
