Also she went there for a seminar ( it doesn’t really matter where she goes with her hard earned money it’s her choice) read more and maybe one day you’ll be invited to a seminar as well 😉

The background has nothing to do with the points that she is making which are all backed by valid evidence and data . Instead of disregarding highly educated professors let us please engage in thinking about the state of the our nation rationality. She is speaking for the minorities who ironically are a large part of our nation. If in a nation the educated are not allowed to express their views and opinions even more so opinions formed thru careful study of empirical data how are we as a nation to progress 🙏

people are tired of divisiveness and prominent thinkers in their ivory towers telling how the cattle should live life.

I don't know how hearing of such cases will help? We do not want India where women are subjugated to wear burqa, how can we support families who would not send their kid to school if the kid decides to show her face!

Sectarianism was imposed upon Lebanon by the West...namely the French. The Christian Yousef's became Joseph so on and so fourth. They were encouraged to turn their backs on each other and group in accordance with religion to further deepen division and create civil war. People always group, yes, but what the West did to Lebanon is unforgivable. Before the West, they grouped based on politics, views, and regions. The West turned brothers against each other. May the people wake up and realise that they are brothers and commence rebuilding Lebanon together before it is too late.

In the end, the UK's performance in dealing with Covid put the country pretty much in the middle of the pack in the EU; pretty average. So why did Johnson's populism do so bad Tim?

Thanks for sharing! Worth noting that the key sounds are quite distracting and loud. I want to hear Seyla speak! Suggest editing these out next time.

tutto ciò che dice è indimostrato, e lo dice come se fosse stato già dimostrato. Chi casca in questa trappola cognitiva, questa illusione semantica, crede acriticamente in ciò che immagina.

What could we begin to do right now to start to live out a post-liberal future? Deneen's book is an excellent diagnosis of the problem, but it offers little in the way of treatment, other than predicting a post-liberal future. But, as he says here, this is not destined. Which means not only that we should think hard about what kind of post-liberal future we want, but also that we need to take action to create it. We are free to create that future right now. I'm ready to start. Anybody else?

Start with the personal. In your own individual sphere (somewhat ironically) try to exercise temperance, control, and virtue - essentially self-governance. If you can cultivate that liberty within you, not be a slave to your desires, then you can move to act in your family, look to the remnants of community and rediscover what it means to live in a relational world defined by self-governance on a wider scale. To frame it as a cliché, be the change you wish to see in the world.

Women and the family. The restless mobility of economic and social liberalism fails to consider the gruntwork of keeping us all healthy and sane. Work traditionally carried out by women operating unpaid (and therefore invisibly) in homes, families and communities.
