I just bought one of these for duck hunting. I'm 5'11" and only plan to take like one bag of decoys out a shotgun and a small bag of amo. I don't think I'll be hunting out of it as it will be more of a "Get me to my spot and retrieve duck." Do you think it will be fine for that?

saved my sanity , did not know about little mark on shaft when refitting it..i went forward hit wall behind me . freaked me out .. big THANK YOU . turned little mark around fixed .

Mine goes up and down but sticks on the way up or down. You can hear it trying to work but the motor won’t move I’ll have to try this

Those bungies behind the seat should be attached to your orange rod holder's ring on both side = when you fold your seat down to grab something the rear storage, the seat springs back into position. Just FYI ~ Cheers

What’s the difference between the Yukon 116 and Teton 116? I’ve seen what appears to be the same boat but with two different names.

The only difference is that one is sold by Walmart and one is not. They are the exact same kayak just sold in different places

As mentioned, same boat (Yukon = Walmart / Teton = Dick's) different color combos are the only difference that I am aware of.

I honestly catch a majority of my fish off of spinnerbaits on the southern end of the lake in the clearer water, topwater walking baits work really good as well

@FishingWithTy Thanks for the tip, maybe that's my issue - been targeting the murkier channels east of the island with top water frogs. Too much milfoil to drag a Texas rig or lure over there. Hard to see/try much of the lake from a kayak w/o fishfinder. Are you just walking that topwater through the trees or what?

@@Pugsgunsandstuff how I use them is I chuck them as far back into coves as I can or work them parallel along the bank anywhere from 10-20 feet offshore, I like to target horizontal laydowns, grass lines, main lake points or rocky banks

Thank you VERY MUCH for this simple fix. After picking up my trolling motor from having it rebuilt I hit the lake and discovered it was running backwards. I called the repair shop and was informed I could bring it back and pay another service charge, or I could remove the head and swap the positive and negative wires around. Hopefully others will see your video.

As soon as you said you put your daughter in the front and your good in the back, I was sold! going out to the store now! lol. Been shopping around for a couple of months and have a 3 yr old son, didn't want to buy a tandem boat for occasional fishing and light kayaking with my boy. Great review!
