2 points . 1. Is SWP in a good strategy a better option than investing in high dividend companies if u look at regular income from the strategy at some point of time ? 2. Very insightful qualitative assessment/reasoning of paying or not paying dividend by a company. In that sense, dividend payout is not 100% foolproof criterion of selecting a good company, which is in vogue with masses. Nice snippet.

because of the taxation, dividend is not attractive...even if the dividend portfolio is 1 cr with 2 % it's 2 lacks only per year

Sir what you are discussing is sector tailwinds but pl caution investors that stocks bought at this expensive valuation may get losses. SEBI has stated that risk needs to be stated in video else small investors may fall in a trap and incur losses in stock mkt.

All what is said here is fine but stocks are very high and crash can come anytime which will wipe out all gains.

Indian defence is a theme that I heard on a Podcast of Manish Dhawan of MysticWealth. This was in 2017 and back then- I thought it was serious, but, never acted, later I made no money from Defence even after knowing about it!

OmniScience has disproportionate returns mainly due to overexposure to PSUs. It will be interesting to see how they perform going forward. I am a happy investor so far. I like that there is v low churn and saves short term tax.
