I have 90watt soldering iron. You said it was a pain in the butt soldering these nails but how much of a pain in the butt? Explain. (I DONT have a welder just 90watt soldering iron)

That is a very neat concept and will make a nice gift. That is something I would like to try with my powerarc.

You can also plug into an electric stove outlet if you need to but that usually means moving the stove out of the way to get at it. I've got a pigtail made up if I ever need to use one with my powertig

I like this project. I've got a couple of everlast welders and want to teach my family how to weld. I think this project would be something fun they can work on.

That is a very cool idea. I hope you don't mind if I copy some of your ideas and use my powerarc to weld one of these for myself.

i am sorry for your loss. i can't really say that i knew him that well but we talked back and forth a few times in the comments and i watched all of the videos he uploaded, feels weird to say that when this was the only video i never watched before now. but alas he was always kind and inspiring and encouraging in the breef moments i talked to him. he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. His channel was the very first channel I subscribed to. He inspired me to start my own channel and share my builds with the community. I miss his builds and I wish you and your family the best.

I'm sorry for your lost but watching your dad's videos made me do more yard art welding other then doing my regular welding. Thank you for the update and again I'm sorry.

I'm truly sorry. He inspired me to start welding things in my garage just for fun. I enjoyed his videos and his projects and he will not be forgotten.
