@zakostendorf4 ай бұрын
@@andreapons5547 I was on antibiotics for quite some time. I suspect you’re asking because the first several images look infected. While I had some minor infection at points, most of the white flesh you are seeing was due to it literally falling away. The seam of the cut did not realign correctly following the stitches and the surface tissue connected awkwardly. Everything eventually went back to normal though!

Will applying vaseline help it heal quickly after i remove my stitches?
@zakostendorf3 жыл бұрын
I’m not a doctor, but in my experience, yes. Keeping the wound moist is beneficial to the healing process in most topical cases. Be sure to sanitize the area frequently between applications of Vaseline or antibiotic ointment to avoid infection.

About 10-14 days for the wound to close correctly. About 6 to 8 weeks to heal fully. About 4-6 months for the skin to start looking normal again.

You can see us here in this video using a tilt leveler. It allowed us to angle the transmission and engine, together, as we dropped, and “slipped” it in. Highly recommend that tool

About 7 or 8 days following the injury, at 0:34 in the video. Most of what you are seeing in the image was just very pale skin. The lower half of the wound did become infected, but only lasted a day or so.

I recently got a wound sort of like that but only needed 4 stitches - middle of my palm. Not too bad compared to yours but I want too see how healing goes for palm stitches. It sucks having to keep my hand in a semi-fist to keep the stitches from tugging :/ I can’t wait to get the stitches out in 10 days.

There was a time at school I was joking with my friends throwing papers on each other, my friend threw a paper at me I tried to dodge my head and smashed my forehead into the corner of the desk, I continued playing until my teacher said I was bleeding, I confused just said what and he took me to the bathroom to clean my forehead, turns out I made a cut near my ewebrows, a big cut but not deep. This was on 6th grade.
Loved how a palm that was sliced only took months to recover but then when you sliced your pinkie with a paper it takes many days to go back to its earlier looking, LOL

@zakostendorf4 жыл бұрын
The wound was only open before the stitches, like it is in the very first picture. After the stitches came out, what you’re seeing is the skin coming together in a somewhat incorrect way. It developed some sort of fold in the skin and I was worried the scar tissue was going to stay that way. Thankfully it went back to almost completely normal, and now I don’t even notice it.

@@wijayaregreto6812 Hi, well let me do a recap. I have right now almost 4 months since the injury happened, so far has healed well, don't feel any pain as of now. The pain persisted for about 5-6 weeks, but after that, I started to grab things firmly again and have normal life and usage of that hand. What I still feel is some kind of "tension" when I stretch the palm of my hand, I think that can be because of the scar tissue, I don't know if I will feel that from now on or if it will cease someday. The first 3-5 weeks are the worst, but after that period of time, everything started to get better and better. About the weird sensation I mentioned before, please note that I got a shitty stitching work I was assisted by a Med student (nothing personal with them, but this one certainly fucked up with me) take the stitches out was very painful and hard for the Doc who did it (and actually he mentioned the poor work on it), so bottom line, try to keep the injury area clean all the time, use some ointment that helps with the healing process, keep it dry too, and try not to perform any movement that can cause damage or the wound to re-open. Be patient, at first you may think it taking too much time to heal but it will, if you feel something is not right try to ask the Dr., hope everything goes just fine, stay safe with the COVID-19 also. Regards.-
