This film When I Met You in Tokyo was compared to Rewind when the last didn’t received its expectation to have Ms.Marian didn’t received the award as best actress .In my own opinion though just a Communication Arts teacher but understand things related to stories,scriptwriting,film directing,acting 😢& the like favored the judges for selecting Ms.Vilma Santos as best actress.Marian’s role in Rewind was so simple & ordinary,it lacked depthness even in the emotions she portrayed.Pardon me & no offense meant,Vilma’s role in the movie was an extra-ordinary portrayal of a woman who met his man in a place she less expected.Her acting prowess was natural but meaningful that anyone can relate to her.
