lol. It was the perfect ending to the perfect night. It was amazing experiencing it with a crowd who wasn’t trying to hear some Fred Again hahaha. It was easy to see that everyone was very aware of the track and its greatness.

Something tells me you’d never be able to read a crowd of less than 50 let alone 80K while playing songs that cater to the crowd and your own friends while millions are watching online.

@@icecoldjohnnyy I think your are right. I am honestly very ignorant to what these guys do. I saw a video where a lady dj was pretending to push buttons and twiddle with things so that probably tainted my perspective. Would you agree that DJ Khaled doesn’t even push buttons?

At the end of the day, sure. But playing piano is just pushing keys too, at the end of the day. Just like giving a beautiful piano performance depends on pressing the right keys (accuracy) at the right speed (dynamics) at the right time (tempo), DJing can also be understood as pushing the right buttons (mixing), right knobs (FX), and right dials (beatmatching) at the right time (song selection)

You should watch the set Carl Cox did for DJ sounds about 11 years ago. Skrillex is also a great great great dj but it's hard to see what goes on the decks on most of the sets. DJ sounds shows a top down view of the CDJs so you can actually see what's going on.
