He knows he poses a danger to those at the Marshall ranch, yet he's controlling the situation by not being honest. I'm surprised Kate got duped by Beau--her logical, suspicious ways focused on Jenny, observing that Jenny possibly may be getting too close to Miles. All in all, when Kate finally arrived home late in that recent storm, she should have insisted on calling an ambulance and gotten rid of Renquist--regardless of his objections. It's not safe to allow a complete stranger into a home with two women and a young child. So, Kate is off her game. Of course, if they did everything with safety in mind, there wouldn't be this great storyline.

Iris destroys lives--then moves on. She can't stand the humiliation of people being aware of her evil deeds. The last straw was Paige's successful launch of her new boutique, despite Iris' tremendous efforts to destroy it. I'm amazed at how Beverlee McKinsey used her honey-dripping voice--even when she was saying such destructive things. She was truly a great actress.

Finally, Iris gets let down. Her scheming to ruin the opening of Paige's boutique failed. Iris' stunned look upon hearing this is absolutely priceless.

Reena should dump Iris as a friend--now that she knows how vindictive Iris is.

I finally figured out why Iris' hair is so big and bouffant--it's to cover the horns growing on her head.

While the producers had beautiful clothes for Reena, Vicki, and Iris, Jenny usually had frumpy, old-fashioned costumes--like the blue blouse with the big clown collar in this episode.

How could Paige and Elliot think Dennis is incapable of planting those photos under the boutique's door? Just because Dennis had a few appointments with a psychiatrist doesn't mean he is cured of anger and revenge.

First, Iris went after Paige, tormenting her at every opportunity. Her next target was Ryan, using whatever weapons at her disposal to destroy him. Iris can't see that her behavior has only served to make Dennis just like her--vindictive and self-serving.

Like the regular mentions of Bay City,Texas's sister soap A.W.'s setting.

What an amazing contrast--Iris always spewing out vicious words with her honey dripping voice.

Bubba admitted to Ashley that Max had seen the evidence of slant drilling, which was authorized by Justin. Also, Justin failed to tell her that he was moving to the ranch--not her apartment. Justin's a born liar, yet Ashley told Vicki that she's misjudging Justin.

The look on Ashley's face when Reena dumped the flowers on the office desk--priceless.

I'm tired of Iris' viciousness. She always needs someone to attack--this time it's Ryan again. Soon she'll be leaving the series and I can't wait. After her departure, the storylines get better.

Liking "Texas",this sister show to A.W.(Another World)is very good,great storylines good blend of drama and subtle humour.

Texas was a really good soap opera,exciting storylines with an undercurrent of gentle humour.

I've only just got into "Texas",I discovered it just before Christmas and I'm really enjoying what I've seen so far.

The look on Iris' face when Elliot showed her the bloody handkerchief is priceless! Iris' schemes have come back to haunt her now that her handkerchief will further incriminate Dennis.

What a beautiful transformation in Reena--from conniving to compassionate.
