I bought this Cort SFX E Sunburst many years ago and now after playing for several years I am actually disappointed with the purchase ($250 at the time)... the sound is way too bright, not much sustain etc ... I see new guitars retailing for much less and they sound way better! I made the mistake of not checking reviews at the time! It almost sounds shrill at some point and has an annoying metallic tone when you hit the high strings! Sorry for the vent. Cheers

I played this guitar recently. Unplugged it was very boxy and shallow. Like a parlour guitar. The sound ports are simply way too big for my taste. Too much side wood is missing imo. I bought the Cort Gold A6 Nat mahogany/torrified Sitka model instead. I’m sure that particular guitar would sound great plugged in though.
