i have the exact same instrument. and first i didnt know how to play as it is this special tuning (a moll in german) a minor (?). and not the C tuning as my other instruments. but i found out fast, that no matter what you play, it always sounds great ❤

Yes it is so freeing to experiment with rhythm and just playing it without being afraid to hit a wrong note.

Hi, I’m wondering if you can be of some assistance helping me find someone to service my Monochord. I live in the San Francisco Bay area in California and have been unsuccessful with finding someone to do some repair and tuning on my Monochord. Specifically, I am in the City of Walnut Creek.

Almost all kalimba are stainless steal which is magnetic but it seems they don't like the idea of people buying the magnets themselves cause they want you to spend your money on a whole kalimba cause they're hungry for money
