The dialogue claims that he 'just awoke (as the ruler of evil)' but during Alena's chapter, Necrosaro was the other finalist in the tournament before inexplicably dropping out. This means he was defeating other combatants before this point and most definitely did not 'just awake' in any sense. Damn it writers.

The one boss that I actually pitied & felt was rather justified. Greedy people beet her/ hurt her to make her cry. One incident she was beetin to death. She ( I think ) was an Elf who cried ruby tears. When he found out of her death, Necrosaro snapped. I believe he loved her. Its been a long time since Nintendo. Correct me if Im wrong. The worst boss fight in the series. This game is already a bit cheaper in terms of how the devs placed enemies and such, but this boss is just highly unfair. Dracula's hitbox sucks, the patterns make no sense, you need to pray and spam the axe and hope everything goes just perfectly. Terrible way to end a pretty good Classicvania.

Beat this game about 30 years ago. Don't remember EVERY single tactic I used but for Necrosaro's final form, I used my Hero, Ragnar, Alena and Cristo. Cristo (and occasionally, my Hero) healed while the rest of the team just kept wailing on him with melee attacks. Didn't bother with buffs, debuffs or offensive magic. This was one of the first games I alone played and beat in my household, so beating this was a BIG deal for me.
