I know nothing about this release.. but i just googled the doll and seen someone selling it for $450 on mercari, and someone selling it for 350 on ebay. Basically the reason why they look slightly different is because Mattel replaces their machines every 10 years or so, and the last time was around when G2 started so we should be getting another machine upgrade happening soon hopefully (One of the reasons why they aren’t using nylon hair) so hopefully with the new machine upgrades we can get all the cool colors of hair, without it being poly because the have the technology to do it!

My mom was a single mom & didn't have money, so I also didn't get many dolls. I had a couple Barbies & a cheap townhouse. But I loved that thing. But as an adult, I go crazy with getting dolls....😂

So I'm not like super great at doll hair or anything but for her hair I would probably start by washing it with some dish soap and warm water. Then putting a tiny tiny bit of conditioner on after and combing it through then rinsing. I would then just let it dry since it's saran or I may dip it a few times in boiling water but that would make it more straight. If you want it to be more curly there is a method where you can wrap her hair in straws and bobby pins and then dip it in boiling water and then cold water. I'm too lazy to do all that but you definitely could if you had the time and patience.

I never had the original or any of the creeproductions. I wasn't collecting back then. Till G3 came out. So, I'm beyond excited to get them. A year or so ago, I got the Reel Drama of Draculaura, as she was the closest I could get then. I love her too ! But of course want her pink version.

I've been looking at Dolls kill a lot lately and they have given me some great ideas for doll shoe mods or custom doll shoes to make for my dolls because of the cute and cool shoes they have. I've been really into their platform shoes because of this.
