In every Eskrima or arnis system there are generic techniques, different terminologies and approach. that's why you will notice that there are similarity of the techniques...

Mang Tony was keen on cuts being driven from the body movement. Just using the arm is wrong. most obviously; the Planchada is driven from the rotation of the hips. And the bag sak is 'to drop' ie to drop the body weight but all cuts should come fro the core. this is why cuts can continue from the last position with no nee to reset or chamber.

At 6.40 what you a demonstrating is called by KIRO 'hak bang piewas' or steping to avoid. Tatang called this movement a hinge (bisagra). Tatlang bow is three coconut halves placed on the floor and so there are only three points where the feet can be. so the hips stay square, no rotation. The back foot is replaced on the spot.
