If you reduce your batter size (the buns size)and calculate your cost well, you should be able to get nothing less than 75-80 pieces. For the 100 naira own.

Everything in the recipe works together to make it hard after frying. If your chin chin remains soft even after cooling down then you should watch out for the butter and baking powder quantity. Beware of the quantity of water as well. I hope this answers your question.
