I always leave some bacon grease from last time and cook mine when it gets gnarly. You save way more, letting some bacon fat carry over so you don’t have to add as much butter or oil every time. Don’t be so mean, she knows what she’s doing. I’m craving oatmeal/cream of wheat/conji (rice porridge) now🤤❤

I miss these days so much. Love them up mummies. Love them up.. don't blink. Just like that song says.. 21 years ago. I had a son. I blinked.😅😂😂 Truly my favorite time of the day. I got up at 3:30 in the morning. Always. The house is quiet everyone is out. I get to sit around drink coffee. I get to get ready for my day. And then I get to make breakfast. And I would pack lunches for six kids. One was mine and five others were not.. In our town we have two schools on either side of us. We're the middle road. I chose that on purpose. I did not want my child around snobby kids that were worried about labels. Instead of their grades. Started a lunch packing service for the other kids that wanted packed lunches but couldn't afford it.. the school was weird about allergies and we're all like. We have rules about the lunches we can pack because of allergies. This won't be difficult. It wasn't.🎉😂 It was super easy.. My husband had no idea for 5 years. We had to put my son in brick-and-mortar in 8th grade and that was to set the pace for college. He was literally going to graduate that year.. but we were able to work with the school keep him in the school and attending college courses.. I was poor growing up. I mean poor. There were times that I had butter sandwiches for lunch. And really old jelly beans.😅 It was my pleasure every morning to make those five meals.. it was my pleasure to bring excitement to kids lunches everyday. With a cool note of something positive.. and. Within a year of learning everyone's favorites. Everyone I adopted.. I'm so grateful the school allowed us the opportunity to help each other. Humanity you are the answers you seek you always have been.. each and every one of us are. We need to pay attention to each other. Because we are foundational to each other. Don't blink don't blink. It goes so fast.😅
