It is really good. On top of no Hawaiian shirts I actually had to put on long pants the other day😞

I'm not a fan of flavored whiskey's but this is good enough to sip all by itself. Crown is smooth and mild, great for sipping, The apple flavor is amazing, it's not artificial tasting like a lot of the flavored whiskeys.

It's a tasty one that is for sure. In my mind Apple and cranberry just don't go together. In my glass they go together very nicely.

Now I need to go out and get some Apple Schnapps

@drunkensailorcocktails although the recipe calls for Canadian whiskey, my " go-to " for this one, I preferably use Pendleton's or Pendleton's Midnight. I've used Black Velvet but for some reason Pendleton's seems to make it more robust. Idk.. maybe bc I'm a big fan of Rodeo's and Pendleton's was " designed " for the Pendleton Round Up ( a big and last rodeo) in the North West ( actually Pendleton Oregon) is in Eastern Oregon and is very close to the " Apple belt " of Washington State.

It gets really hard to go out for cocktails. I wonder if I subliminally pick cocktails I can see they don't have the ingredients for. Or I sit at the bar going I have that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, well you get the idea. It's not always easy being the Drunken Sailor.

Saves a trip to 7-11 or even to Sonic for a cherry limeade. They are delicious.

Looks interesting. Yellow Chartruse can be pretty difficult to find in my area, I'll see what I can find.

@@mellokitty4186 Easy to make, get your kitchen scale use 80 grams of hot filtered or distilled water. Add 20 grams Kosher salt and stir till disolved. Thats all there is too it.
