It's just amazing that he's become a 14'11" 5k runner in a couple of years of training. I wish a good luck on his running carrier in college. U of Michigan has produced some outstanding distance runners like Alan Webb and Ben flanagan. I will be watching for him on NCAA and hope he will be one of those someday.

thank you for all the kind words! training as part of team at Michigan is what William’s looking forward to 💯
Running 1,000k in a month is very impressive 😮 Thank you very much for this video and I really appreciate your great work. It was very interesting to see the daily life of a foreigner runner in Japan. I was surprised to see Jake owning so many running recovery tools. I don’t know the price but it’s definitely not cheap 😅

Do you have cross country in Japan?
@TempoJapanАй бұрын
not really, no cross-country season like in the UK or the US. It’s track and ekiden season instead!

a high schooler running under 4min for 1500m is impressive! i like the coaches style too. most important thing is that your runners dont burn out.
@TempoJapanАй бұрын
definitely! the plan is not to peak at high school📈

Very good video as always. Thank you very much 🙏 I am interested in what the coach said that if Ekiden didn’t exist the level in Japan for 800m and 1500m would go up 👍

@@kouyang167 thank you 🙏🏻 we have a new video with 800m runner coming soon where we’ll talk a bit more about that!
