Greed has a lot to do with this .... if the prices are too high .. people wont buy !
@Jimbobs_Adventures10 күн бұрын
Yeah I guess that's the case with alot of brands but Honda are quite sensibly priced compared to most & from past conversation with the sales staff they sell quite alot too 🤔 I can only imagine it has happened due to poor conditions this summer & maybe the backlog of bikes has hurt the business
@muckergee21139 күн бұрын
@@Jimbobs_Adventures Granted what you say is part of it .. but the seeds of this debacle were planted many years ago when the middle classes became ' born again bikers' and took over the scene , out went the range of Motorcycles and ' CC's ' and in came superbikes at near luxury car prices and the overblown assessories market with matching colour leathers that were priced wayyy over they're worth .... Motorcycling became a game of financial one upmanship rather than a grass roots movement , and now Royal enfield and the chinese have stepped into the void left by those middle class hoorays moving on to another ' expensive ' hobby .. the market is adjusting back to what it should have been all along ..... its Darwinian theory but in the flesh !
@Jimbobs_Adventures9 күн бұрын
@muckergee2113 I think this applies to all markets, not just the motorcycle community

@@Jimbobs_Adventures well it does if the 'chattering classes ' have decended on them and priced it out of the common mans ranges !! god bless the indians and chinese for bringing a little reality into things !

Nice scenery, nice ride and a very suitable bike. Pity the weather wasn't a little better out there in the beautiful countryside. But to inspire people to follow your routes and to pave the way for others to follow your rides: then give the not so local people a clue as to where you did ride in the video. You've said its 550 sq. miles out there. So more information please and no so appalling backing music. Personally I had to mute the entire video and watch in silence as a result of the backing track. Just constructive criticism I hope

Not physical engine issues just that he read about the light coming on every 70 miles etc. The Parallel twin honda engine is pretty much bulletproof

Nice feet forward position. Should be an option on all bikes not just "cruiser style" as it is so much more comfortable than 90% of bikes with ridiculously scrunched up knees. In 2024 motorcycles should be about comfort not boy racer ambitions. Bad point on nearly all cheaper bikes like this - spoked wheels are pointless and as you say prone to rusting very quickly, so always go for non spoked wheels if possible. They might not look so cool but you'll save yourself many hours of ineffective anti rust work.
@Jimbobs_Adventures8 ай бұрын
Yeah but I even find Harleys are too small now also. I believe that the only midrange bike that you can forward control out of the factory without having to spend on accessories is the Kawasaki Vulcan 650.

Its much better than the lexmoto bikes (my neighbour has had a few of them), i like scramblers personally, sit up and beg seat positions.. I can not knock sinnis bikes, i just got a can og galv spray for the parts i thought would rust and there still great 4 years plus later..
