I LOVED every messy, complicated, toxic, co-dependent minute of this movie! Nothing cookie cutter about it at all. Cinematography - excellent! Time jumps are like a tennis match (back and forth). IMO, the music was used to make you feel the emotions of the characters versus their actual spoken words. The ending was chef's kiss. From the way Patrick told Art he'd slept with Tashi to her yelling 'come on' and smiling, let's you know she'd gotten her wish of seeing some good f***ing tennis PLUS Art and Patrick are together again kept my emotions on edge. Best movie I've seen in the last few years. 10/10

tbh i think we do get the reasons for her attatchment to tennis. tashi is a prodigy but she says she plans to go to university because she doesnt want tennis to be her only skill, and later (after her injury iirc?) we hear her admit that tennis actually IS the only thing she at least feels like shes good at. and so when shes seperated from tennis by the injury, she does everything she can to be close to tennis and she finds that in art (and later both art and patrick) or at least that was my read. and thats why the ending makes sense. tashi got what she wanted. good tennis. she didnt care about patrick and art in that moment (although i think she does care about them generally), the wrap up of her story is her relatioship with tennis. i do agree though that they couldve pushed tashi and her feelings more to the forefront anyway, sorry for the long comment lol, and thanks for for making this video, it definitely got me thinking :)

As an Indian im really happy, dev did the best job in making this movie surrounding around Indian culture and mythology, perfectly done ( not like the Bollywood movies foreigners see and says it's crigy), but getting called indian john wick is really another level 🔥
