I absolutely love this pattern. I was making a blanket for my new grandbaby and was so unhappy with it when I found your video. It turned out so pretty.

I definitely didn’t like the idea that we have a count all the way across with you. I also have never seen a video where the lady is holding everything sideways instead of us looking down on what she’s doing. I did not finish watching it but you do make a beautiful baby blanket.

Beautiful blanket! What size blanket does that make? I’m not sure how many yards are in the skeins you used.

I’m very new to crocheting. My blanket has big holes all through the pattern. Can someone help explain why this is happening?😫

I think you should look at some other blanket tutorials to help you make one because we don’t need to do every single chain with you. Usually the lady will do a few and say I’ll meet you at the end and we don’t have to watch the whole thing. Thank you.

Your blanket is beautiful, but I don’t like the way the camera is positioned. I have never seen that before we are watching you sideways instead of the usual I didn’t like it at all but you seem very sweet and the blanket is beautiful.

For those having trouble with the armhole row, the begging chain I use is 60 not 54. The pattern is very forgiving if you make adjustments to this area. I've made several using this fix.

It’s been a while since you posted this video so I don’t know if you’ll see this comment but I want to thank you. I don’t usually enjoy working with thicker yarns like the Bernat Blanket but I saw the prettiest shade on sale at my local Michaels the other day and purchased two large balls. Then I got it home and couldn’t seem to make it work with the pattern I’d decided to use. I was having trouble keeping up with my chain stitches. I came here and found your video and this blanket pattern is now working up beautifully for me. Thank you for posting it! 😊

So I've made the baby blanket version of this 4 times. Everyone loved it. I have just been asked to make a full size adult version. Anyone have any clue how many chains I should start with? I know for the baby one it's 64 and then to increase I just add three more chains over and over to get length but I don't know when to stop? Anyone make an adult blanket and it turn out good? How many beginning chains did you use. I'm just worried I'll end up with a weird long rectangle or something LOL

Hi I watched all 3 parts of your videos it took me time to understand and adjust the armholes as I was getting too many stitches but I took it up as a challenge and completed it I added a red border and a belt to it. I also did the edge on the sleeves in red. It turned out beautiful so thank you

I can't remember how I corrected the deficit in the arm hole row. Starting out with 54 chains, it is impossible to achieve a proper arm row.

I practiced this stitches using a #4 at. Yarn, and an I-9 hook. It made a really nice texture. This is important, because I make preemie/newborn blankets, and they need to be pretty much free of holes. This stitch is even closer than the closed shell stitch I love so much. Thsnk you.
