Did they put 150lbs of lead in the trunk to make the chargers feel better ?

It appears that there may not be any gains and any that may occur are insignigicant. My analysis is that it is not worth monkying with the setup and creating unnecessary increases in pollution to achieve nothing or almost nothing. I plan on installing a whipple and 700 whp is more than enough for my purposes. I probably won't even be able to put all that power down and hook consistently.

why change from the stock filters would have been nice to see the results with the stock filter I wouldn't be surprised if the stock filters flowed a bit better.

It real question is how much WHP are those gaps along the way? True the Max isn't mush better, but those are some good gains along the way.

5-7 is a much more logical number. With the stock system having two large filters, it has to flow very well without any mods. I would do it though. The cost is not an issue compared to other dollars per horsepower.

Only the factory engineers know the precise airflow is it enters and leaves MAF/Carbon trap section. That being the case, I'm reluctant to monkey around with my Coyote engine.

Here from the podcast with Cooper. Was curious if you figured it out. I'm glad you got it sorted, and im glad i came across this. I also have a Fore Innovations fuel system and run it very low when racing. Luckily, I have not experienced any of these symptoms, but moving forward, I'll be running more fuel to avoid this from happening. Thanks for the update 👍

Moral of the story is the intake isnt the bottle-neck in the gen4 coyote process
@JR15A25 ай бұрын
Yep, it wasn't a bottleneck in the Gen 3 either; with the 24s, it isn't a bottleneck x 2. Yet most people will still fall for the marketing hype and waste money on hot air intakes and filters that let tons more abrasive particulates into their engines.

Nothing is better than the stock air box unless you go bigger and then You have to pay for a Tune to do so.... I am not paying a 1000 bucks just for an intake... I Learned that lesson years ago.. And they could have just went with a bigger throttle body and made the same power instead of making 2 more points of failure..

Is there a way to remedy this problem, so you don’t have to always keep it at a half tank with a fuel system?
@jordanperformance Жыл бұрын
We're working on a solution right now but it's not an easy fix. The immediate fix would be to cap off the crossover tube on the drivers side and make sure you only have 5-6 gallons of fuel in the car at a given time. Any more will fill up the passenger side and there will be no way to transfer it over. Your fuel level gauge will still work but your new "full" mark is a little below 1/2 tank
