Thank you so much for sharing these awesome forms. I would have loved to see a step-by-step explanation though like in the "original boxing tree" dvds from shaolin. When shifu is performing moves with his back towards us, it is impossible to see the technique and therefore I can never master the full form. Still awesome though

My three kids do sanda it should be more popular because it's a martial art that really works just because it's name isn't posh a lot of silly people judge it by that I know the isn't a martial art in the world will truly beat sanda on the feet hence why it's takes a lot of years to earn a black belt sash in sanda from a proper instructor thanks for the video 🙏

There is alot of arts that can beat Sanda stand up but it's all about the person using the art.

Judo doesn't have single legs and double legs tho sanda does
I think it's not Sanda competition but it was the traditionnal Kung Fu fight like Sanshou in France back then (now we have Kuo Shu ) .

Holy shit! An effective, practical chinese martial art? I have been proven wrong
@hellcocktimes1543 жыл бұрын
well, its effective if u all fight under the same rules lol. If not its a tool to get beaten hahaha
@fullcontactdownhillgymnast25723 жыл бұрын
@@hellcocktimes154 this is essentially pankration. They're just fighting. These guys would annihilate kung fu, wu shu, wing chun, kenpo, or any other traditional chinese form. I was wrong in my comment though, this isn't chinese. Which makes sense, because it's practical
@hellcocktimes1543 жыл бұрын
@@fullcontactdownhillgymnast2572 none of this people have any guard...they all fight arms down open handed...imo it has the same issues than this neo dummy karatekombat league, it starts with guenuine techniques that would look great in a bloodsport sequel, but then turns into a basic thug/bum/streetfight just throwing punches around. Cos there is no guard, so after 2 punches they re on panic mode and forget all about their mantis or drunk man techniks . So what does that say about the effectiveness of one martial art.......i loved the video thou, a lot.
@BajoCLF3 жыл бұрын
Oh, most of em have a lot in common with any other martial art. The thing is they are practiced more for cultural than practical reasons.

@@BajoCLF lets say my favourite sanda move on this video is " i grab your gi and i punch ur face" bouncer technique lol. But in a way its much more close to a real fight than a lot of competition

This is wushu or kuoshu?
@Nemo-ii3bu3 жыл бұрын
Kuoshu
@scottoman2 жыл бұрын
wushu and kuoshu are just different terms for essentially the same thing. wushu = martial arts or skills, kuoshu or guoshu = national arts or skills. where the confusion lies is in how people now often refer to "modern kungfu" as "wushu" & "kuoshu or guoshu" to mean "traditional CMA".

I thought that it was a form from the Northern Courtyard of the Shaolin Temple. A variation of this form I had found in your own KZbin channel ( Shaolin Kung Fu - once Shemati10yt ). Do you mean that it derives from a Chang Quan branch ?

Me quedo sorprendido de que hayan montado tremendo vídeo, esto un clásico, por otro lado vean que es totalmente reales los golpes sin protección alguna, salvo la protección y defensa de cada competidor. Felicidades quien monto este vídeo.
