I very much like your theme of style and grace. My days on the edge were long ago. I still go paddling though, and I will always pursue style and grace. It is an end unto itself, and it keeps us all out there for a lifetime. Very nice video.

I have been camping and fishing on The Kern for over forty years. It’s sad to see the river low like last summer. The fishing is bad when the water is so low. I’m hopeful we get rain and lots of snow. I love The Kern. …..Great video. 👍

I prefer video without music. Dan Jackson does it perfect. It allows us fellow kayak or's with less skill to live vicariously through your video with the sights and sounds of class 5+ Rapids

Quick question from an intermediate kayaker's perspective whose trying to step up to the next notch of solid class IV boater, biggest runs so far Ocoee and New River Gorge, if you were to buy a 9ft creek boat which would you get and why? The options around me are Nirvana, Phantom, Alpha 90, & 9R. I'm leaning towards the Nirvana because of my experience in my Zen 2 and Traverse, but just been asking around trying take in better paddlers feedback.

@@1stVARifleman I really think the Phantom, 9r, and Nirvana. They are all good boats. I paddled the Nirvana for a few seasons and always liked it. I am now paddling for Waka because the OG is by far the best boat on the market for my style of kayaking. I would say try to demo all the boats you can and see which one you like the most. I know this is an incomplete answer but you will figure out which one is best for you.
