So cool to see a van build with someone who is naturally funny. Makes a welcome change to all the boring af videos we're forced to watch. Keep it up - you're doing a great job and handling the VanBuild Gotchas really well. Oh, and perfect timing and use of accoutrement (I use it all the time and all I get in return is people staring at me with the same face a dog pulls when you whistle at them).

You're doing SUCH a great job! I've been in my rig for 1.5 years now with a no-build setup. I'm framing now, goal is to have walls/ceiling/cabinets all in by end of winter. I had the same snag with wiggly top vertical boards. I made them longer to press against the roof metal, added glue, and then added felt pads where the wood hits the lip of the cavity.
@campingwithbetsyКүн бұрын
@@LorienJohnson the felt is a really good idea! And thank you it takes time and if you have a full time job forget it ! I’m currently adding walls I think I have a few more videos to post before that one comes out

@campingwithbetsy25 күн бұрын
Im sure that’s how they prefer it. The wave unit itself can be powered by a typical house plug(which I can plug into my Bluetti) OR you can buy the wave 2 attachment battery and run the unit unplugged for 3 ish hours. I have both solutions

At about 21 minutes you refer to the screws you get from the hardware store as “silver” screws. What you should be using are stainless steel screws (they are actually bolts). If they aren’t stainless steel I urge you to replace them. I know it will be a major pain but not as much of a pain as it WILL be when they rust, and they WILL RUST. Remember rust is highly contagious.
