I think this shows also needs to look at the cars other aspects. Technology, comfort, drive feel, asthethetic features ect. It has become a reliability shows if anything else. Most cars are actually good, not long ago the likes of Hundai, Kia were not given a chance. Now everyone is singing their praises. The 2017 Havals are still in good shape Toyota are honing their sells on reliability only. Their drive are not the best and their interior features are ancient. Also it depends on how long is one willing to keep the car. And who keep the car for five years or more these days

Great show as always, highlight of the week for me. First question, ive used the AMT in the Dzire, it was great and also found it sporty in manual mode with that k12M engine so i have to disagree with Mr Ford there. An alternate I would suggest is either the Fronx in the auto or the Chery Tiggo 4Pro. For the second question, the restriction doesnt make sense to me but whatever. I would suggest she look at the Haval Jolion or Jetour Dashing, she will get a very well equipped car for the money. The Honda Elevate suggested by Mr Ford is a bad fit(thats twice now ive diagreed with him)its too expensive for what it offers and less we forget it has no cruise control of any kind. For the third question, look at the P Series, you can get a brand new one with all the frills and features a modern can is supposed to have. For the second to last question, that guy has a financial death wish, get the Porshe or Mustang since were going for percieved status. for the last question, buy a new car, tracking down that error is already taking up too much time and money.

The only thing we need from South African reviewers is for them to call out these manufacturers for these ridiculous prices. But instead they just wanna be in their good books. Every aspect of this car doesn’t make sense, especially considering it costs R800k, yet when they review a Chinese car they’ll point out every little thing hhayysuka

😂I don't think that's the case. Today there were people who just had budget as a secondary priority, that's all. When it's the primary objective no one can ignore the Suzuki offerings.

Sorry! 885k for this? Lmao, nope the warranty is so limited there will be a ton of these in the used market with NO warranty in 1year. I’ll rather go buy a 2-3 year old Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with 60k km on and know that I can make it to any destination and back with ease. This would only be 500k so I would save 385k and have a lot of adventures…

I drove this car in Kazakhstan and I was blown away by the interior, very luxurious and it has every feature you could want. Fuel economy seemed to be the only major negative but fuel prices are dirt cheap there so they don’t need to worry about that 😆

My new Favourite in the segment. Upspecced models are great but 335-405k. Tested one is 405k. I haven't seen the base models yet. Curious about what the interior is like for those.

That fuel economy of 7.5-8 L/100km more inline with the India review's and it's a shame Suzuki are the only ones who are very accurate in their fuel economy figures.

No thanks Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo, Jetour.... GWM and Haval have earned their stripes. The Germans are ridiculously priced and not really reliable long term. Japanese is the way to go Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda.

@@victorl.siyaya9513 not really, a good product is a good product. Did thorough research and testing (About a year, also waiting for the new products from the brands I was considering). For me, this was the best product from the options I had. Budget was R1.3m - went through second hand X5, brand new X3/4, GLC as well. Decided no on the second hand, so the options were the latter. They don't get close to this when I considered how much this costs. The product here is on par if not slightly better than the 2L X3 and GLC. Id suggest you go out and try the product on its own, without thinking its "Chinese". Then try the germans without thinking "its a german", and compare product to product. Then go deeper into the brands and what they are doing behind the scenes to improve the products.

😂 😂 😂 Honestly for me I have been averaging 720km's on a full tank. I chose to look at that instead of the consumption gauge because it always varies by how I am driving. The highest I have gotten on my C9 is 9.4l per 100km but it usually stays between 8.5 and 8.7 which I think is good enough. Its not a diesel after all
