My guess is it was a heat of the moment thing. Probably not intentionally killing him or just getting so mad that he saw red and only coming to his senses after Sun was dead. No matter the real reason though I definitely want to see more

If you read the description, it says Eclipse is a Black Widow, aka they are people who kill their spouses for whatever reason, usually to get the life insurance, or their estate, or to get money from it in any sort of fashion, or maybe they get off on it, idk whatever the reason. Typically the Black Widow knows they’re gonna kill their spouse before they even marry them, so more than likely Eclipse knew he was gonna kill Sun, but Sun was genuinely in love and obsessed with Eclipse, and that was enough to bind his ghost to Eclipse.
