1. Utils is short for utilities, the pronunciation of that in this video is pretty odd. 2. Reducing OSS to "duct tape and prayer" is pretty offensive to the awesome people who have built the internet you're trying to monetize. I'm glad you referenced the xkcd meme, but you grossly misrepresented it. 3. Your timeline of events is poorly (and inaccurately) summarized. 4. You didn't discuss the actual problem, which is the fact that these vital open source projects are maintained by people who may have other stressors in their lives, leading them to back away from project maintenance and misplace trust onto others to help maintain software. The discussion should be about "how can we better support these projects / maintainers to prevent this in the future" or at least suggest vetting all OSS submissions from non-maintainer uploads. Should really do some actual research with more effort in understanding the events before you try to summarize a poor understanding into a video.
