For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28:13) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4)

Could you be more offensive??? The Native Americans are still recovering after 500 years of exposure to the toxic poison that is the pale man’s interpretation of the words and actions of the very brown Christ of Nazareth. You are not “converting” anything- Wakan Tanka sent your distant lands a Christ because your grand confluence of cultures needed to be corrected and sent astray from the ways of consumption, arrogance, money, greed, conquest, and mindless church worship. Our many nations have faithfully served the Great Spirit since before we crossed the ice bridge and sailed the mighty savage oceans, our whole entire lives from birth to death have been in the faithful service of the Great Spirit and as stewards of Wakan Tanka’s perfect creations. Only your people need to be baptized, study your faiths, and worship in the extravagance of man-made cathedrals build on tithes- why? It is to apply all this effort and work, only to begin to emulate a mere fraction of what we have already known and practiced for millennia. The very idea of converting Native Americans to Abrahamic religion is hilariously perverse and ironic, not to mention it’s from an outdated and racist era that didn’t even bother to examine the monotheistic and the Christ-like nature of the existing Native American spiritual religions. We are not Christians, but we have been dutifully worshipping God for 20,000+ years. it was your peoples that needed the Christ to become more like us- to live without desire for property or wealth, to live as caretakers and subjects of this world and not as it’s master, to live without the shackles and illusions of the man-made world, and to treat others with respect and dignity. Literally all of those went completely unheeded by the people now trying to convince us to hook up our rail cars to the back of their slow-motion train wreck. However if YOU need spiritual guidance, many Native Americans still exist and can help YOU out

Anything referencing the Native Americans…. Is going to be about the indigenous people of the United States of America. The Indigenous Canadians have their own term even though they are largely the same ethnically as their Native American counterparts, and the indo-Americans of Mexico and Central America are genetically distinct from the other groups and are not considered “Native American.” Included with Native Americans for solidarity’s sake, are the Hawaiian Islanders and the Alaskan Inuit/Aleutian peoples, both of which are genetically distinct from Native Americans, but are are still indigenous peoples of their lands that *now* make up the US. For example, the Islanders of Hawaii are more closely related to the aboriginals of Australia and likely the ancient Korean-Japanese boat-builders, while the the Inuit are more closely related to their asiatic Siberian neighbors just across the Bering Strait
