In two weeks im getting this surgery. I got Covid vaccine 2nd dose developed cervical dystonia a few days later got twitches in neck for year stiff neck then severe deformity.

Prednisone , mestinon and imuran . Is what doctor put me on .

I’ve been bad with my myasthenia Gravis neck pain at the back with bad headache muscle cramps day and night leaving me in pain I’m forgetting a lot also my double vision got worse I won’t drive at night my right hand just drops what I’m holding I’m very tired sleeping a lot so I spoke to my neurologist she has sorted a brain scan got to be within 2 weeks be she wants to tell me the results has anyone had this brain scan and what are they looking for they keep me in the dark ❤

A decade ago my husband started having seizures after a stroke. They started before EMTs even got him out of the house. He was not given tPA. He was not put on antiepileptic meds until after admission, and he was in a constant state of seizure for more than 24 hours. When I asked about it, the epileptician said that they have to tweak the doses because if they give him too much he might not wake up. After 12 hours he could no longer communicate. He wasn't declared status until 24 hours after admission, and he was still not intubated and sedated until I had spoken with his neurologist who told me what to tell them. They only did the intubation/sedation after I was screaming at the neuro on call. By the time I got him out of that local hospital and in the care of his neuro team at another hospital, it was too late. They were unable to wean him off the sedation and antiepileptics (he was on four of them) without him going into SE again. He never regained any sign of cognition and I had to authorize removal of life support after 2 weeks. The hospital that botched his care is now designated a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and I have no idea why.

I don't believe here in the UK, that enough is invested in research or new treatments. I can no longer walk, I can only get about in a scooter or wheelchair.

Can getting muscel biopsy tell have symptoms of MG 🙏🏻💙❤️

My poor soul mate is in san antonio icu with stroke. Had it on Saturday night. I'm in Australia and finally located him today but thy don't tell me anything because I'm not listed as family. I'm trying to get his work manager to ask his mom for her email so thy can arrange that Mark hears my voice. I know it will comfort him. He thinks I don't know. He worries a lot about me and it would comfort him to at least hear me.

Excellent information and presentation. I've always wondered why they hadn't targeted the mechanism that creates the antibody. Looks like they're well on their way to doing just that! Would be a Godsend to ween people from the current immuno-suppressive shotgun approach!
