Most of godzillas plot armor shouldn't even count. Im pretty sure the ace knockes both of them out considering they were about the same distance from the axe when it exploded. Also kong lost the axe because Godzilla got ahold of it and threw it away thats why kong doesn't have it anymore. Your acting like it just suddenly disappeared from the fight. And kong dislocating bis arm has nothing to do with the outcome of the fight since Godzilla was just dominating the whole time anyway. Godzilla is stronger, and more powerful everyone knew Godzilla was going to win going into this movie

Axe shouldn't have even made it that far. The axe is made of another one of godzillas species and the dorsal fins on the Godzilla species are only supposed to hold a set amount of radiation and power until it gets too much to handle hence why godzillas dorsal plates changed for the evolution in gxk. So it makes no sense how the axe was able to withstand all that energy from Godzilla because it was definitely way too much. So the ace should have actually exploded sooner than when it actually exploded so that shouldn't count towards godzillas plot armor
