How fun that you got a chance to live in Austin for a year; I’ve only lived here since URI and CT, where I grew up. Your cancer experience sounds challenging and I’m glad you’re on the other side. I’m a two-time survivor and had genetic testing and did not have what they thought I might because both of my types are connected to my mom’s cancer (she died at 49.) Medical mystery, I guess. Thanks again for sharing!

I remember going to this mall when it first opened as well. My mother and father would bring my brother and I all the way from Tiverton, RI to come here. And I do remember that the Macy's store was actually G. Fox when the mall first opened. The company merged with Filene's in 1993.

I came to you through Stitch Fix. I would suggest that you keep doing that. I understand being vague about your personal stuff, but I would like to know what type of work you do, how long you've been divorced, do you have other family in the area. What state are you in? Your breast cancer experience, etc. I'm finding it a little bit hard to connect to you when I don't know much about you. I also have a pool at my home in Utah, and since putting it in, I totally don't vacation over the summer. I want to be home working in the garden and swimming. I love to vacation in the fall.

Have you tried a vision board for your goals? I like to use pinterist. Would like to see boutique haul videos, declutering, amazon finds

I think generally people like clothing videos like Stitch Fix etc. but I enjoy a variety of videos, anything that helps us make a connection to you. Declutterring videos are good.

Toy Vault needs to move out of Emerald Square and relocate to Natick Mall. I wonder why Emerald Square is doing to poorly while Natick Mall is thriving. I'd think being right off Rt 1 would make it convenient compared to Natick Mall where you have to do a big circle around Speen Street.

Everything looked great! That would be a 5/5 for me. I thought the dress looked fantastic and didn’t emphasize your hips. If you wanted to try sizing up for the bustline and sleeves, you can let customer service know that you’re holding back the first dress because you want to compare. If you get the next size and it’s too big everywhere else, you can decide if you want to keep the smaller one without having to exchange again. That’s come in handy for me a few times.

I love looking at online real estate listings around Rhode Island and dreaming about a potential future house. I paid off my house last summer and then immediately wanted to move! LOL We're not going anywhere anytime soon, though; I'm enjoying living for basically free. I have been here since 2001; I bought it when I was single and got married in 2010. I had to chuckle when you were talking about being single and not having anyone to ask for permission. We have separate and joint accounts and I never have to ask permission or compromise or get clearance to do whatever. I do know people who will say things like my husband won't let me do X or Y or spend on something minor/inexpensive. One friend -- a teacher who is on her feet all day -- had to get the OK from her husband to buy new shoes that were on sale. I can't imagine living like that!

I blame the owner of this mall Mike Kohan for destroying this mall. He has a history of neglect including not paying utility and tax bills. You may need to start going to Warwick Mall, Natick Mall or the South Shore Plaza instead.

I use to love shopping there!! It's so sad to see that the mall is so empty. I don't know how much longer the mall will be able to stay open with so many stores closing.........

They should make Independent Senior Living apartments there. Lots of parking escalators elevators it would be perfect. Seeing there is a shortage of Independent Senior Living homes. And most of the high-rises they only want to put you in 500 ft.². It’s so degrading specially after working your entire life I’m not having a decent place to retire. The system is so broken for the seniors.
