Can the pole holder turn sideways with Pole in it, allowing you to move from spot to spot so you don’t have to take it out of the holder and lay it on the ground in the boat?
@tomkobza47072 ай бұрын
Yes you can turn it this way for transport. We might have a few options for what you are looking for. Give us a call at the shop and we can discuss the options.

Ok at 32:45 the threaded "boss", what hols to to the retainer when servicing? I had an issue and needed to replace my belt. That threaded boss falls out once bolt is removed. I had to remove brake side cover and fish out "boss", mine you you it aluminum. Ended up welding a bolt on end of a concrete rod to fish through brake side. Love TKI, I've never needed a belt. It's like a timing belt on a car or truck. But when needed, it's not a trail replacement.

Is there enough clearance behind the new bracket to install nutzerts in the bracket to mount the capacitor to the TKI bracket with nutzerts instead of the provided nuts?

The kit you're showing looks like it's updated with a bolt head on the insert... I installed the original kit last year, lasted all season but now i need to take the kit out for warranty. The insert is not holding in place to remove threaded bolt. Any recommendations on how to remove this? I've tried everything i can think of and no luck!

Use a few long extensions together and a 1in. socket to slip onto the retainer through the shaft.

@dennissoltis96369 ай бұрын
@@alecanderson1356 I just purchased mine in the last few months, and it accepts a 1 inch socket. Your aluminum retainer doesn't have a bolt head? Allen? Nothing? if thats correct, that sucks. Maybe TKI would swap you for the new style if thats the case?

what about putting a 3/8 hex for future removal if the insert on the brake rotor side would come loose and spin on removal?

We will be adding a 1 inch hex for a socket on the aluminum sleeve. We have not seen any issues with inserts spinning if installed correctly, but its extra insurance.
No.. literally buy the driveshaft out of a 2023 trail sled /g4.. or a 2021 mountains sled/g4 sled. It is like $280 and is an oem part and the actual fix not a bandaid insert plug that you have to take half the drive apart anyways lol
