I sometimes use a turning chain when starting my next row. I usually pick pretty easy patterns so I am not really an expert. Do any of my other viewers want to try to help with suggestions?

The first yarn you showed us, the Premier Puzzle... I'm using that right now to knit a scarf! That same colorway, too. Neat! i don't know why it is called Seashore when it is more blue than anything I would expect that name to be bluegreen or green. It's a lovely yarn though.

Im working on a V-stitch shawl see how it turns out. Mainstay Walmart 4 yarn in brown, about 2.97. Syracuse is going to be cold Brrr. I also live in the Wast but Syracuse snow a lot of snow. Wow! Good luck ! TFS!

How long does it take you to crochet a baby blanket?

It depends on what yarn I use. The Bernat Blanket, a few days. The Premier Yarns Puzzle, a week or less.

Thank you so much for this break. I worked on a moss stitch baby blanket in the round using Caron Blossom cake. It’s so soft. For knitting, I am making a toddler hoodie in the round with Heartland. I enjoyed hearing about Syracuse. Lived in Orwell for a bit. Don’t miss the snow at all. Have fun on your trip. Good luck at your job interview. 🧶🧶🌻

Is the beach that you go to on Lake Onedaga? I live in Syracuse when I was young, from about age 4-9 and that’s one of the places I remember pretty vividly. My mom took us there a few times and I remember going there on field trips. My favorite thing was collecting the tiny shells on the beach.

I was using the pattern on the label. I threw it away. The yarn was discolored in spots and was very stiff.
