It's easy to look at something and think "damn thats trippy", but to Create something that's "trippy" is a very difficult thing to do. Tame Impala has mastered that ability...

1:01:05 is so trippy the vocals sounds like 3 different Kevin’s singing at once.

kevs mic is rigged to an ableton vocoder with a ghost midi track playing the harmonies and jay has his second mic rigged to a different computer doing the exact same thing on ableton although jay is playing his harmonies. live i believe he just uses a straight vocoder that Jay plays the synth part to, then Jay moves the microphone back so he can continue the vocoder part while Kevin brings in the main vocals.
