They all have the same foot size (length & width), however the 14&8k have a slightly thicker foot

I fished the needle nosed one this summer in the mediterrean at a bit more choppy conditions and noticed that the lure was prone to jumping from wave apex to the next from time to time, so I was wondering if the flat nosed one offers a bit more stability in such cases. I think I will test it next time ✌️

This version will certainly catch bass, there’s also the various sizes of non jointed Stylo that’ll catch too. I’ve caught many UK bass on 12” SPs. Don’t let lure size put you off bud

Yes definitely, however with the additional ring and swivel it gives the fish less leverage to throw the hook

@@fearmyglock_850 as mentioned previously it takes away some leverage, ie it works exactly the same as the original single assist, but is now more tooth proof. Hope that helps

9/0 300 lbs? what brand

Yes it’s a 4/0 BKK Raptor Z treble and a 9/0 BKK Lone Diablo on its tail fitted with Decoy 250 & 300lb rings. HOWEVER this lure leaked on some test casts I did with it before my trip. With saltwater inside it and no visible hole, I couldn’t risk it starting to corrode the internals so I took the hooks off and binned the lure

They do have a sort of dull thud, but it certainly doesn’t sound like a rattle to me especially compared to all other lures.

I use genuine TA clips on my lighter lures. I was going to use the largest size for light sharking (blues), but I did a break test and it opened well below its 175lb rating. I wasn’t impressed! Splits take longer to change lures, but it’s only a matter of seconds, so no real issue IMO

Unfortunately I’ve not heard of those brands. Here in the UK we are limited as to what is available internally. Obviously buying jigs from overseas means costly shipping. Tight lines bud

@@PoppersStickbaits what a bummer man. I'm located in San Diego, California in the United States. I love watching UK and euro fishing saltwater and freshwater videos. I learned lots about shore fishing and like the shark and wreck fishing. Trolley rigs are starting to get popular here now for land based fishing. If you have a PO box I wouldn't mind sending you a few jigs. Skipping jigs for yellowfin tuna and other fish is an old school thing on the west coast.
