Dude, those bikes have CV carbs, blipping the throttle before starting only works on bikes with flatslide carbs with accelerator pumps.

If you’ve got a grinder and welder, then give it a go. What I did for the swingarm mount was just shove a thin aluminum pipe into the engine case on the rear side of the motor, then drilled out the thin pipe until the 400ex swingarm bolt fits snugly. Also I didn’t need to modify the expansion chamber at all.
