3:30 Aha, ok. So if you find out that a Student does the Work but not when you wanted him to do the work, you not gona honor the work that he has done. You ruine his future because your feelings. Seems like a repeating pattern.

I am not proud of the fact that I order a paper, but if you do so as well, I would recommend myeasypaper.com. They have really cheap prices and really nice quality of the paper + references and title page for free.

That sounds good in theory, but that's not what happens. For example, the city sends you a letter saying that "your grass is to tall and if you don't cut it very soon they would cut ant at extortion rates. " You receive the letter ( offer to contact) and laugh and say to your self " their out of their cotton picking mind" and throw it in the trash. Me my self I would have taken no response to mean that their not interested in my offer to contact. These morons see it as I contacted with them. Only someone shady would say that was a contract.
@IdaMJones4 жыл бұрын
If the city sends you a letter, that is not a proposal for a contract. It is a statement that you have violated the city's ordinances and the city is stating what it will do if you don't remedy the violation. And yes, sometimes people have tried to use silence to force people into contracts but more likely the parties create a custom of non-verbal assent as a way of doing business and then the silence could become an acceptance. This site gives straighforward examplesL lawshelf.com/coursewarecontentview/silence-as-acceptance/

@@IdaMJones / it's an offer to contact, yes you have to respond within 72 hours, with a rejection of their offer to contact. It must be notarized. And it can't just say no thanks. You have to do your research. "The city of Joplin" is a corporation. " The city of whatever" is a corporation,b" the state of whatever" is a corporation, " The United States" is a corporation. It's all done under admiralty law. Which governs the ocean. Not the land. God made man domicile on the land. You have to do your research. Remember that we the people are the bosses in America. But you have to do your research. Goggle search " my birth certificate is a bond" and it will pull up page after page in the subject.

Thank you, this helped me understand who makes what laws and how those laws are passed through the different levels of our government.

The introduction to law helped me understand how enacted laws in our country are ranked regrading importance and power. I was most interested in how common law functions. After watching this video it's evident that common law runs the risk of at times having opinionated rulings according to the principal of precedent within common law. The predictability and flexibility that common law grants a jurisdiction concerns me because precedent is when judges take a look at past cases and allows those decisions to influence the current decision at hand. Very interesting!

I'm doing law degree. It's not all about the reasonable man to define a contract. Offer and acceptance is the bind. Rebutted contacts... the reasonable man theory does not come into play if there is clear offer and acceptance . You are advising incorrectly.
@IdaMJones4 жыл бұрын
The question is what is a "clear" offer and acceptance. That's the role of the reasonable person standard-to decide what is a "clear" offer and acceptance.

what law books would you recomend?
@IdaMJones7 жыл бұрын
It depends on how much in depth you want to go. There are clsssic law books on contract, such as Corbin on Contracts ( which is impossibly expensive) 9store.lexisnexis.com/products/corbin-on-contracts-desk-edition-skuusSku1010876?gclid=Cj0KEQjw9r7JBRCj37PlltTskaMBEiQAKTzTfGK4DzXwwvdRca-YHJNM08DskEPwsqBUxPe-gkyLS1oaAuXT8P8HAQ). You might try Nolo's contract books, which are very practical: (www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/contractsor ) or Contract Law for Dummies (www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-1118092732.html).

Yes. When a law is made, there are many who try to find ways to circumvent them. Should we stop making laws then?
@knellycornnan51327 жыл бұрын
People do this stuff all the time and most of the time they get away with it. These laws are a joke since companies who are smart will know how to get away with these. Furthermore, business will do any questionable and morally objectionable thing they can get away with, if it benefits them.
@IdaMJones4 жыл бұрын
There is often a difference between theory and practice.If you don't know your rights or something about the rule of law, it may never occur to challenge a practice. And businesses often get away with too much.Business decisions are often "all about the benjamins" and not about fairness or justice.
