yes, the SM64ex is network based so you can run the instances on multiple computers and all connect to the p1 host instance via local IP. I did 12p with 3 computers once. All players in the same world interacting with one another. EDIT: I thought this comment was on my other vid. youtube comments were bugging out. Not sure what to do for Halo for your situation.

The emulator is upscaling it from 640x480 to 1280x960 so it looks sharper.

We play 4p battles online using the Parsec app. One person hosts the game on their PC on emulator and the other 3 players connect in with Parsec. The input delay can suffer if you live too far away from the person hosting the game. It is not too bad though. I am in the USA and I play with my friends in Peru with 120ms ping and it still plays fine.

I made a savestate with the entire cheat menu fully unlocked. Those cheats are TOO HARD to input . We actually had to bust out CheatEngine memory editor to automatically make all cheats in the menu available. We were not able to input half of them. lol

EDIT: I see your server, but you are not port forwarded, I am unable to join. login to your router and forward the ports of your server for your PC Not sure about public lobby host from within citra (haven't tried), but the examples below work for me to get it in the list. I am not hosting the master server, someone else is. I don't know who it is. Windows bat host (dedicated server without citra actually running) Make a txt file, rename it to host.bat and paste the stuff below. @@justase64 Oh hey. How did you even find out about my room? I just happened to test it 😄 It should be port forwarded, but maybe I need to do it in windows firewall, too. Could also be my VPN lol.

@@derkevevin you will have to turn off the VPN when hosting. When the windows firewall popup thingy came up the first time you tried to host, click accept. If you didn't click accept you may have to add the rule to windows firewall. And yes, you must login to your router, find the Port Forwarding section, and add a rule for your PC's local IP (some routers will have a dropdown menu in port forwarding and you can choose your PC instead of having to type your PC's local LAN IP manually. ex 192.168.1.212) Make the rule TCP/UDP, if it doesn't give you the option for both you will have to make 2 rules, one for TCP and one for UDP. The default Citra port when hosting from the emulator is 24872 so I would forward that. I saw your username in your Citra multiplayer lobby (not joinable) and noticed it was similar to your youtube name. I assumed same person.

@@justase64 Yeah, I know how to open ports, but thanks. Sometimes it just doesn't work. I opened ports everywhere but I can only connect from my steam deck or through LAN. You might be able to enter the room now. (Edit: I can't join it over internet myself, only through LAN, but it may still work for you. Me not being able to join my own servers using same machine is what I mean with "sometimes just doesn't work" 😄but my steamdeck was able to connect)
