Yes I did try this on my own layout, which you can see on my Model Railway Layout in winter snow video, which I do have to say to does take a lot of time clearing away especially if the plastic stuff lands on bushes, which I had to hold down the bushes with my hands and carefully use the vacuum to clear the snow up, and believe me it wasn’t all that easy 😅

Personally. I'm not fond of the eye mechanism. When I get back into modeling. I will remove the eye mechanism, find replacement face on shapeways & upgrade the motors

Very nice work! He looks great with a grey face - very nice sculpting! I know this video is a couple years old now, but I was wondering how you got the old face off of the body. Does the original face have pegs that fit into the body like Hornby Arry and Bert, or was it completely glued on? I just purchased a Hornby Bear myself and I'm interested in doing a similar modification.

Thanks, I’m possibly thinking of updating the face model I did with a 3D printed one if I can the model that was used in the Trainz program of course. To answer your question, I think the original face did have pegs that fit into the body, but it was reinforced with glue as well, which is why I carefully and cautiously used a standing knife to remove the original face

I always wondered a few things: How old are Bert and Cedric supposed to be? I am assuming since they are out of school, they are likely in their early 20's, but there might be some indications within the series that they are still teenagers. Bert is obviously at least five years older than Lisa is, and since they all have the last name of Raccoon, they should all be related. But Bert is the only one who is not related to them. I sometimes wondered how Bert came into Ralph and Melissa's life, since he was the only one not related to the rest of them. I sometimes think that if they had continued the show for another season, Cyril would have dated Mrs. Pig and Lloyd would have told his brothers that they would have it easy because they would be the boss's sons and would be able to get whatever they want -- like a raise. They should have actually done an episode like that.

I know about the reboot, but I’m not too sure if it’s still going ahead, I haven’t heard any new updates on that. But to answer your question, I just don’t know, I really like the original series and nothing beats that - what I mostly think when these sort of things are done, but when came to DuckTales being rebooted I had my doubts about it at first but when I decided to check it out one day - I really loved it. Of course I can’t compare this to the Raccoons, for me I wanted it continue where they originally left off from 1992 (but that’s just me)
